Joseph McDermott – Owner and Operator
Joseph has been involved with the hearing healthcare industry from a very young age. His mother, Pamela McDermott, has owned and operated a Beltone hearing clinic since he was young lad.
Joseph decided to work part-time for his mother during his high school days to see if this was the right path for him. “I fell in love with helping people right from the start and knew this career path would suit me.” Joseph attended George Brown in Toronto where he studied Hearing Instrument Sciences.
He returned home to New Brunswick and opened his first Beltone location in Moncton. In 2015 Joseph got a phone call from Dianne Lank in Charlottetown and was presented with the opportunity to assist her with her Beltone clinic in PEI, an opportunity that Joseph jumped on as there was no better person to learn from!
“With many nerves, I jumped right into the midst of a very busy clinic. I look forward to continuing working here in Charlottetown for many years to come and maintaining the customer service Islanders have come to expect.”
