Gift of Gab Keeps Eileen Woodruff Tansky young
Speaking to the 93 years – young Eileen Woodruff Tansky is to experience a force of nature!
The vibrant former hairdresser has seen amazing changes over the years. Some may remember her popular shop, the Debonair Salon, in the Charlottetown Hotel or her involvement in the Liberal party over the years. Eileen married and moved to the States for 35 years, but is very happy to be back on the Island reconnecting with old friends and clients.
It was in the States that she first experienced hearing loss and purchased a hearing aid. When she experienced problems with it upon on her return to the Island; she went to someone she had known since birth – Dianne Lank. Eileen has stuck with Beltone ever since and is very happy. In her own words, “I think that they are priceless. The girls and Joseph are grand – just love this crowd. They are fabulous – it’s a lovely office to go into and they are very obliging and you are always made to feel welcome”.
“Great customer service from that very nice fellow Joe.”
Years ago, Osborne Phillips of O’Leary was told that there was nothing that could be done about his hearing loss. Then he met Dianne Lank, a Beltone Hearing Specialist. She tested Osborne and found a hearing aid that did help him. “Love her heart – she was a great person” he says. Osborne has been a loyal customer of Beltone ever since.
When he decided to go with a hearing aid in both ears; a whole world he had been missing opened up for him. “I came home from the appointment, opened the car door and I could hear the birds singing!” Osborne happily commented – something he had not heard in years. Of course it was not all good – he could now hear that squeaky bathroom floor his wife had been complaining about and he had to agree that yes it was very squeaky indeed!
Osborne gets his hearing aids cleaned and tested every 4 months and enjoys what he calls “great customer service from that very nice fellow Joe.”
